Our verdict
Spocket makes sense for stores selling to US or European buyers who will pay for shorter delivery and branded invoices, ideally on the Pro or Empire plan. For India-focused or COD-led stores, or anyone just automating AliExpress orders, DSers or CJ Dropshipping cost less to start.
How this score works: the DevMixa score is research-based — we compare official pricing, features, documentation, support options, security and data policies, and public user feedback against other tools in the same category. It is not a hands-on test; tools we test ourselves are marked “Tested”.
What is Spocket?
Spocket's cheapest paid plan lets you import just 25 unique products for $39.99 a month, and that one number tells you more about the app than any line on its homepage. This Spocket dropshipping app review and pricing check is for Indian founders and global sellers who want to know what the four current plans buy, how quickly US and EU stock reaches a buyer, and when a free tool like DSers is the smarter start. Facts come from spocket.co/pricing, the Spocket help centre, its Shopify App Store listing and its terms, all read on 21 October 2026, and we kept only figures that the official pages back up. Rupee figures are approximate, converted at ≈₹94.7 per US dollar, because Spocket publishes no INR prices.
How an order moves from your store to a Spocket supplier
Spocket is a supplier marketplace wired into your storefront. You browse a catalogue, push listings to your store, and when a customer buys, you check out that order inside Spocket and pay the supplier's listing price. The supplier ships straight to your buyer. Your margin is the gap between what the customer paid you and what you paid the supplier.
Spocket, Inc. runs the service, and its terms place the agreement under the laws of British Columbia, Canada. The Shopify App Store listing gives 8 March 2017 as the launch date. Both the homepage and the pricing page quote a 100M+ product catalogue, but that catalogue is not all US and EU stock. AliExpress dropshipping is included even on Starter, according to both the pricing page and the Shopify listing, and the homepage also promotes AliScraper, a separate AliExpress tool. In practice you get a curated set of Western suppliers and an AliExpress alternative workflow under one subscription.
Stores it connects to beyond the Shopify integration
The Spocket Shopify integration is the most common setup. On Shopify's app store it has a 3.5 rating from 628 reviews, and that average hides a split: 481 five-star reviews against 89 one-star ones.
The help centre also documents connections for WooCommerce, Wix, BigCommerce, Ecwid, Square and Squarespace, and names Amazon and eBay as places to sell. A Spocket WooCommerce store connects through the same help-centre flow, though on self-managed hosting you are the one who fixes plugin or server conflicts when a product push fails.
Spocket pricing plans: Starter, Pro, Empire and the Unicorn tier above them
A naming note first. Searches still say Starter, Pro, Empire, but the pricing page now calls the middle plan Professional and adds a fourth tier called Unicorn. The Shopify listing and one help article still use the short name Pro, so read Pro and Professional as the same plan. Every tier includes unlimited orders, the full catalogue and what Spocket calls a 0% transaction fee.
| Plan | Monthly (USD) | Approx. INR a month | Annual billing | Unique / premium products |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $39.99 | ≈₹3,787 | Not offered | 25 / not stated |
| Professional (Pro) | $59.99 | ≈₹5,681 | $288 a year ($24/mo, ≈₹27,274 a year) | 250 / 25 |
| Empire | $99.99 | ≈₹9,469 | $684 a year ($57/mo, ≈₹64,775 a year) | 10,000 / 10,000 |
| Unicorn | $299.99 | ≈₹28,409 | See pricing page | 25,000 / 25,000 |
The annual column looks strange next to the monthly one. Pro billed yearly works out cheaper per month than Starter billed monthly. The Pro and Empire yearly figures appear both on the pricing page and as fixed plan prices on the Shopify listing, with no end date attached, so we treat them as standing annual prices rather than a short promotion. The catch sits in the refund policy: annual plans get no trial and cannot be refunded once payment goes through. We left out Unicorn's annual figure because its savings label on the pricing page does not add up against its own monthly price, and no second official source lists it; check the checkout total before you pay.
Two costs sit outside the subscription. You pay the supplier's product and shipping price on every order, and each extra store needs its own subscription to get all features, per the note on multi-store support. Then there is your store platform. Shopify in India costs ₹1,994 a month on Basic, or ₹1,499 a month on yearly billing, and since Shopify Payments is not offered in India, Shopify adds a 2% fee on Basic for orders paid through Razorpay or another third-party gateway.
The Spocket free trial runs seven days on monthly plans only
The standing offer is a 7-day free trial on Starter, Professional, Empire and Unicorn when billed monthly. Cancel inside those seven days and you are not charged, according to the refund policy. After that, monthly fees are not refunded, and cancellation has to happen through account settings at least 24 hours before renewal. One trial badge on Spocket's site carries a "14-day trial" label in its image text. The written FAQ, the plan cards, the Shopify listing and the refund policy all say seven, so plan around seven.
What about a free plan? The help centre mentions a free tier called Basic, and the Shopify listing shows a $0 option with 24/7 chat support. The pricing page does not list it, and neither source says how many products it lets you import. Until Spocket documents those limits, do not plan a launch around it.
Spocket US and EU suppliers: shipping time is set per product
Faster delivery is the main reason people pay for Spocket instead of sourcing on AliExpress directly. The help centre stops short of promising a regional standard, though. Shipping time equals the supplier's processing time plus transit time, both counted in business days, and the exact range is printed in each product's description. Spocket's own example is a product that takes 6 to 10 days to reach a customer in the United States. Treat any blanket promise of fast shipping with caution and read the range on the product itself.
Spocket describes its suppliers as vetted, and its help centre says many of them ship worldwide, but each sets its own destinations. Use the "search by shipping location" filter in the dashboard and enter the destination country before you import anything. Supplier prices exclude customs duty. Spocket's help article says duties are collected when the parcel arrives and suggests warning customers that they may owe them.
Spocket dropshipping from India: who it works for
Nothing in the pricing page or terms limits the seller's country. The real question is where your customers live. An Indian founder running a US-facing Shopify store is exactly the case Spocket US suppliers are built for. If your buyers are in India, three things push against you:
- Many suppliers do not list India as a destination, so the location filter will shrink your shortlist sharply.
- Imported parcels attract customs duty on arrival, which surprises a shopper who paid ₹1,500 at checkout.
- Cash on delivery is hard to offer when you prepay the supplier in dollars, and a refused parcel is money already spent.
Plans and supplier prices are listed in US dollars, so your bank's foreign currency markup lands on top of the rupee estimates above.
Spocket vs DSers vs CJ Dropshipping on cost for a small catalogue
These three solve different problems. DSers is an order-processing app built mainly around AliExpress. Its pricing page and Shopify listing both show a free plan, then Advanced at $19.90 and Pro at $49.90 a month on monthly billing, each with a 14-day free trial and 20% off for yearly billing. Larger tiers exist; check dsers.com for those. CJ Dropshipping is a sourcing and fulfilment company. Its Shopify app is free to install with no monthly plan, lists sourcing in the US, Germany and the UK as well as China, and offers print on demand. You pay CJ through product, shipping and service fees instead.
| Tool | Entry price | What the money buys | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spocket | $39.99/mo (≈₹3,787) for 25 products | Curated US/EU suppliers, branded invoices, AliExpress tools | Stores selling to US or EU buyers who want shorter delivery |
| DSers | Free; Advanced $19.90/mo (≈₹1,885) | AliExpress order automation across several stores | Sellers already sourcing on AliExpress |
| CJ Dropshipping | Free to install, no monthly plan | Sourcing, warehousing and POD, priced into each order | Sellers wanting one partner to source and ship |
For a 25-product test store, DSers or CJ costs nothing up front, while Spocket costs about ₹3,787 a month before your first sale. It earns that fee only if its supplier list gives you products and delivery times you cannot match elsewhere.
Product import, branded invoicing and the AI add-ons
Spocket product import starts in the search tab. You pick an item, adjust the listing (title, tags, retail price) and push it to your store. Unique and premium items are counted against separate limits, which matters a lot under Starter's 25-product cap, so keep a running count of what you have pushed.
Spocket branded invoicing puts your store's details on the invoice packed in the parcel. The Shopify listing places it in Pro, while the pricing page also ticks it on Starter, so confirm it in your dashboard if you pick the cheapest tier. Spocket sample orders are a weaker point: the pricing page does not list samples as a plan feature, so the simple way to judge quality is to place a normal order to your own address before you spend on ads.
Spocket AI arrives as separate tools rather than one assistant. The homepage promotes Dropgenius, an AI store generator that fills a new store with trending products, along with Smartli for AI copy and Logome for logos. Useful for a first draft, irrelevant to supplier margins.
Is Spocket legit, and where the complaints start
Yes, it is a real company, with terms governed by Canadian law and an app on Shopify since 2017. Most of the anger in reviews traces back to the refund policy: no prorated refunds, nothing back after a monthly renewal, and annual plans non-refundable. Supplier quality also varies, since each supplier sets its own processing time and return rules. Spocket's terms say it is not a party to the contract between you and the supplier for each order, so disputes over damaged goods start with the supplier.
Spocket dropshipping app review and pricing verdict: who should pay
Pay for Spocket if you sell to American or European customers, can set aside a few hundred dollars for testing, and want quicker delivery than standard AliExpress shipping without holding stock. Pro is where it starts to make sense, because 250 products and 25 premium items leave room to test; Starter's 25-product limit feels like a paid trial. Skip it if your buyers are in India, if COD drives your sales, or if all you need is AliExpress automation, which DSers covers free.
Sensible first moves:
- Start the seven-day monthly trial, never an annual plan, on day one.
- Filter by your customers' country before shortlisting.
- Order one unit of each shortlisted product to your own address.
- Turn on branded invoicing and look at what the invoice shows.
- Set a reminder two days before the trial ends.

Spocket FAQ
What is Spocket?
Spocket is a dropshipping app that links your online store to a catalogue of suppliers, many of them based in the US and Europe. You import products, sell them at your own price, and the supplier ships each order to your customer. It also includes AliExpress, eBay and Amazon dropshipping tools on every plan.
How much does Spocket cost per month?
Monthly billing costs $39.99 for Starter, $59.99 for Professional (Pro), $99.99 for Empire and $299.99 for Unicorn, roughly ₹3,787 to ₹28,409 at ≈₹94.7 per dollar. Annual billing lowers the monthly equivalent, for example Pro at $288 a year. Supplier product and shipping costs are paid separately on each order.
Does Spocket have a free plan?
The help centre mentions a free Basic tier and the Shopify App Store listing shows a $0 option with chat support, but the official pricing page does not list it or its import limits. The documented way to try paid features is the 7-day free trial on monthly plans.
How do I import products from Spocket to Shopify?
Install the Spocket app from the Shopify App Store and connect your store. Search the catalogue, add products to your import list, edit the title, tags and retail price, then push them to Shopify. Bulk import is supported, and your plan caps how many unique products you can import.
Is Spocket legit?
Yes. Spocket, Inc. runs the service under terms governed by British Columbia law, and its Shopify app has been listed since March 2017, with a 3.5 rating from 628 reviews. Complaints mostly involve its strict refund policy and varying supplier quality, so read the refund terms before paying.
Spocket vs DSers vs CJ Dropshipping: which should I choose?
Spocket suits sellers who want curated US and EU suppliers and will pay from $39.99 a month. DSers has a free plan and paid tiers from $19.90 a month for AliExpress order automation. CJ Dropshipping's app is free to install and earns through product, shipping and service fees instead.
Can I use Spocket from India?
Yes, Spocket does not restrict the seller's country and works with Shopify and WooCommerce stores run from India. It fits best when your customers are in the US or Europe. For Indian buyers, check the shipping-location filter, since many suppliers do not ship to India and customs duty applies on arrival.
What are the best Spocket alternatives?
DSers is the common free option for AliExpress-based stores, and CJ Dropshipping suits sellers who want sourcing, warehousing and print on demand without a subscription. Zendrop and AutoDS are other dropshipping tools worth comparing. Pick based on where your customers are and how many products you plan to test.
How long does Spocket shipping take?
It depends on the product. Shipping time is the supplier's processing time plus transit, in business days, and each product page lists its own range. Spocket's help centre gives 6 to 10 days to a US customer as one example.
Who should use Spocket?
Sellers targeting US or European customers who want faster delivery than typical AliExpress shipping and can afford a monthly fee during testing. It suits Pro or Empire users best, since Starter allows only 25 unique products. Sellers focused on Indian buyers or cash on delivery will usually do better elsewhere.
