Our verdict
Anyword is worth paying for if most of your copy is ads, emails and social posts where clicks are measured, because ranked variations cut wasted tests. Start with the Data-Driven trial and check the score against a real split test. Long-form writers and budget buyers will get more from Jasper, Copy.ai or a general assistant.
How this score works: the DevMixa score is research-based — we compare official pricing, features, documentation, support options, security and data policies, and public user feedback against other tools in the same category. It is not a hands-on test; tools we test ourselves are marked “Tested”.
What is Anyword?
Anyword's homepage makes one claim worth testing before anything else: Anyword says its model predicts which of two content variations will perform better with 82% accuracy, and puts GPT-5 on its own at 52%. Few writing tools try to tell you which headline will earn more clicks before you spend a rupee on media. This Anyword predictive performance score review looks at how that prediction works, what the plans cost in October 2026, how the trial is limited, and whether Jasper or Copy.ai would serve an Indian marketing team better.
A copywriting AI built around one number
Anyword is a generative writing platform for marketing and go-to-market teams. Like most copywriting AI products, it drafts ads, landing page text, emails, blog posts and social captions. The difference is that variations come back scored. You tell it the channel, the business goal and the target audience, and the data-driven editor predicts which versions will do better before anything goes live.
Anyword sells three things: the web platform, an API for teams that want predictions inside their own apps or AI agents, and an enterprise package with private models. Its security page lists a New York office. Anyword describes its generation engine as LLM-agnostic and does not name the underlying models on its public pages, so you cannot choose between, for example, a Claude or Gemini model inside the editor the way you can in some chat tools. What it does name is integrations with ChatGPT, Notion and Google Gemini, so a score can follow your copy into those tools.
Anyword Predictive Performance Score review: accuracy against the 82% claim
Here is how the prediction is meant to work. Anyword says its predictions draw on a large dataset of industry A/B test results, weighed against the audience, goal and channel you choose. Ask for five Instagram captions and each comes back ranked. On Business, Content Intelligence benchmarks copy you have already published against that dataset, and integrations pull your own performance data in (5,000 data rows on Business, refreshed daily while connected), alongside custom-built models.
How much should you trust it? The 82% figure is Anyword's own claim, and the homepage gives no methodology, sample size or channel breakdown. It is a pairwise test (which of two versions wins), not a promise that a score of 80 will deliver a set click-through rate. A chart on the same page even uses different numbers from that text. A fair reading: the score is a useful way to shortlist variations before an A/B test, and a weak substitute for running one. Teams with real ad spend should still split-test the top picks for a few weeks first.
The prediction quota also matters. Each plan gets a fixed number of performance predictions per month, and the generation itself is unlimited on every tier. That split tells you where Anyword thinks its value sits.
Anyword pricing plans: Starter at $49, Data-Driven at $99, then a sales call
The official pricing page lists four tiers. Prices are in US dollars; there is no rupee plan, so Indian buyers pay by international card and should expect bank forex charges on top.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing | Seats | Predictions per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $49/mo | $39/mo | 1 | 50 (100 shown on the annual tab) |
| Data-Driven | $99/mo | $79/mo | 3, up to 10 at $59/mo each ($49 on annual) | 100 (175 on the annual tab) |
| Business | Custom | Custom | 3 included (FAQ says up to 20) | 250 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom (500+ on the annual tab) |
Starter covers unlimited generation, a brand voice, the one-click performance boost and content improver, 100+ templates, the Blog Wizard with a plagiarism checker, and the Chrome extension. Data-Driven adds live predictions while you edit by hand, which is the feature most copywriters will actually want. Business brings custom-built models, ten workspaces, content intelligence with benchmarking against past copy, out-of-the-box integrations, roles and permissions, and automated website messaging A/B testing. Enterprise adds SSO, a private language model, custom integrations, full API access and a dedicated success manager.
Two practical warnings from the FAQ. Cancelled subscriptions are not refunded, and there are no student or non-profit discounts. The annual labels on the page show roughly 20% off for Starter and Data-Driven. The page is also loose on Business seats (three included, up to 20 in the FAQ, no extra-seat price) and on brand voice limits, so get the numbers in writing before you sign.
Is Anyword free? What the 7-day trial covers
There is no permanent free plan. Each paid tier comes with a 7-day free trial, and the FAQ caps that trial at 2,500 words. That covers a couple of short ad sets and some subject lines, not a full blog post plus revisions. The page does not say whether a card is needed to start, so check at sign-up. Since refunds are not offered, decide before day seven whether you will keep it.
Brand voice, Blog Wizard and the Chrome extension in daily use
The brand voice module stores your tone, audience profiles, preferred vocabulary and formatting rules in one place, according to the help centre. Every new draft then follows those settings, which matters for agencies juggling several clients. How many voices you get is unclear: the plan comparison shows one on Starter and five on Business, while a separate brand section on the same page shows three and fifteen.
The Blog Wizard is the long-form tool, with a plagiarism checker included on every plan. Expect usable first drafts, though the scoring engine is clearly tuned for short, conversion-focused copy rather than 2,000-word guides, and the trial word cap makes long-form hard to judge.
The Chrome extension carries the performance boost into the browser, so there is less copying in and out of the editor.
Is Anyword good for ad copy and email subject lines?
This is where it earns its fee. As an ad copy generator, Anyword works from 100+ templates and prompts, produces many variations at once, and ranks them for the channel you picked. For social ads, the audience breakdown helps a small team decide which angle to test against which segment. Email subject lines work the same way: ask for fifteen, sort by score, and send the top two as your split test.
For a D2C brand in Bengaluru running Meta campaigns on a tight budget, data-driven copy mainly cuts the dud variations that eat spend. It will not fix weak targeting or a broken landing page.
Website targeted messaging is the Business-tier reason to buy
Anyword's Website Automation feature (the website targeted messaging product) automates on-site messaging and runs A/B tests on it, so headlines and calls to action keep improving without a developer swapping text by hand. This sits only on Business and above, so it is a sales-led purchase. It suits SaaS and e-commerce sites with enough traffic for tests to finish in weeks.
Anyword vs Jasper for brand-led teams
Jasper's pricing page lists Pro at $69 per seat per month on monthly billing, or $59 on annual billing, with a 7-day trial. Pro is a single seat with two brand voices and three audiences, and Jasper Business is custom-priced with API access and a no-code agent builder. Jasper is the broader content suite. Anyword is narrower, but its predictive scoring has no direct equivalent in Jasper. If your work is mostly blog posts and brand content, Jasper fits better. If most of your copy is paid ads and emails where clicks are measured, Anyword's Data-Driven plan at $99 for three seats works out cheaper per head than three Jasper Pro seats.
Anyword vs Copy.ai on price per seat
Copy.ai has moved toward sales and marketing automation. Its Chat plan costs $29 a month (or $24 billed yearly) for five seats with unlimited chat words, and its free plan, per its help centre, gives 2,000 words a month. Automation tiers start at $1,000 a month on annual contracts. On price, Copy.ai Chat is far cheaper for a small team. What it lacks is any built-in performance prediction. Choose Copy.ai for workflow automation tied to a CRM, and Anyword when you need ranked ad and email variations.
Other Anyword alternatives worth a look: Writesonic, now focused on AI search visibility from $79 a month billed annually, and general assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, which handle most drafting for free or for around $20 a month but cannot score copy against ad outcomes.
Data handling, model choice and what Anyword does not publish
The homepage states that customer data is never used to train third-party models, and the security page cites SOC 2, ISO and GDPR, alongside role-based permissions, penetration testing and a 99.9% uptime claim. Read the terms too. They let Anyword use generated content, aggregated and anonymised, to improve its own platform, so the no-training promise covers outside models only. The terms (June 2024) also give you rights to generated content as far as the law allows, so commercial use in ads and emails is fine, though others may get similar output. The privacy policy says data may be stored in the US and other countries. Enterprise buyers can get a private model and SSO. Still missing: the names of the language models behind generation, data retention periods and a named hosting region. Indian companies with DPDP Act obligations should request the DPA, which is linked in the site footer, before uploading customer lists or campaign data.
Where Anyword falls short for Indian buyers
- No INR pricing and no refunds, which raises the cost of a wrong decision.
- Monthly prediction quotas are small on Starter, so heavy testers will hit the wall quickly.
- Integrations, copy analytics and website testing are locked behind custom-priced tiers.
- Accuracy claims are not independently published.
- Regional language support is not documented on the pages reviewed, so test Hindi or Tamil copy during the trial before you commit.
Running your first scored campaign on the trial
Start the Data-Driven trial rather than Starter, since live scoring of manual edits is the feature to evaluate. Set up one brand voice using your best-performing past ads. Pick a single live campaign, generate ten variations, and run the top two scored versions against your current control for the full seven days. That small test is a more honest Anyword predictive performance score review than any vendor chart. If the winner matches the score, the $79 annual rate is easy to defend. If it does not, a cheaper general assistant will probably do.
Who gets their money's worth from Anyword
Performance marketers, paid social freelancers and small agencies that live inside ad dashboards get the most from it. Long-form writers and anyone needing a free tier will find better value elsewhere.

Anyword FAQ
What is Anyword?
Anyword is a generative AI copywriting platform for marketing and go-to-market teams. It writes ads, emails, social posts, landing page text and blogs, and predicts which variations will perform better for a chosen audience, goal and channel. It is sold as a web app, an API and an enterprise package.
How does the Anyword Predictive Performance Score work?
You set the channel, business goal and target audience, and Anyword ranks each generated variation by expected performance. The company says predictions draw on a large dataset of industry A/B test results, and on Business plans your own performance data can be added through integrations. Anyword claims 82% accuracy at picking the better of two variations (against 52% for GPT-5), but that is its own figure and no methodology is published.
How much does Anyword cost?
According to the pricing page, Starter is $49 a month on monthly billing or $39 a month billed annually, and Data-Driven is $99 a month or $79 a month billed annually with 3 seats. Business and Enterprise are custom-priced. Prices are in US dollars only.
Is Anyword free?
No. Anyword has no permanent free plan. Each paid plan has a 7-day free trial, which the pricing FAQ limits to 2,500 words.
Anyword vs Jasper: which is better?
Jasper is the broader content suite, with Pro at $69 per seat per month (or $59 on annual billing) and stronger long-form and campaign tools. Anyword is narrower but scores copy before publishing, which Jasper does not do in the same way. Ad-heavy teams usually get more from Anyword; content-heavy teams from Jasper.
Anyword vs Copy.ai: which should you choose?
Copy.ai Chat costs $29 a month (or $24 billed yearly) for five seats and has a small free plan, so it is cheaper for general team writing. Its higher tiers focus on sales and marketing workflow automation. Anyword costs more per seat but adds predictive scoring for ads and emails.
Is Anyword good for ad copy?
Yes, short conversion copy is its strongest use. It generates many ad variations from 100+ templates, ranks them for the channel you choose, and lets you split-test the top picks. The score helps shortlist variations but does not replace a real A/B test.
Does Anyword have a free trial?
Yes, every plan comes with a 7-day free trial capped at 2,500 words. The pricing page does not say whether a card is required, and cancelled subscriptions are not refunded, so decide before the trial ends.
What are the best Anyword alternatives?
Jasper suits brand-led content teams, Copy.ai suits small teams on a budget or sales teams wanting automation, and Writesonic now focuses on AI search visibility. General assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini cover basic drafting cheaply but do not score copy against ad results.
Who should use Anyword?
Performance marketers, paid social freelancers and small agencies that write many short ads, emails and social posts get the most value. Bloggers who mainly write long articles, and anyone needing a free plan or INR billing, should look elsewhere.
